BENT ECLIPSE GLASSES

Ordered 2 pairs of these eclipse glasses online along with another item that came in a box. The 2 pairs of eclipse glasses were not protected and were placed inside of a plastic Lowes shopping bag along with the boxed item that I ordered. Damaged

Ordered 4 pairs of glasses online; arrived quickly. Unforunately the cardboard arm on one pair is bent and as a result, flimsy. I called to get a replacement (I can send photo of issue), but was told I either need to return to Lowes (online order for convenience) or send back. Approved Genuine Eclipse Glasses

I needed to be sure these glasses were approved and safe for my family to use. I went to the official government website for the names of the approved solar glasses. When I did a search Lowes's name came up and they carried the first name brand on the list. I ordered them online and picked them up at their indoor locker system, so not damaged in shipping. Glasses fine; shipping not so much

The glasses seemed fine. Didn’t get to use them because it was too cloudy where I’m at. The shipping was another story. The glasses were sent loose in a padded Manila envelope. The post office crammed them in my PO Box. Luckily the glasses were not damaged. Probably need to send them in something more sturdy.

Eureka!

I was glad to locate solar eclipse glasses locally. Everyone was sold out and online stores were not recommended for purchase by the AAS. Although these are not the design pictured, they are the same maker and are so dark you cannot see normal light through them. Pickup was smooth, no hassle, thanks to helpful employees.

Solar Eclipse Glasses are Hard to Receive

Ordered a 3-piece set of the Solor Eclipse glasses (note: the photo shows 3 pair of glasses) and received only one! It was packaged in a very large bubble-wrap envelope which was bent and wrinkled, therefore, the one pair of glasses was torn in a couple of places.
