Hose Kit should not be this hard to assemble

Just got a remote hose kit for my lawn vac to pick up leaves. It does work well but putting it together and having it stay together and working as it should took some doing. I am a retired builder/remoldeler so very handy. Problem #1- the Hose Adapter that bolts on the side of the motor on the vac, that the 5in hose is supposed to go on, is the same one that comes on the vac and the hose is the same ID as the adapter. It is a must have because it enhances the Chip-N-Vac's overall utility for your lawn projects, leaf collection. See my review on the Chip-N-Vac. replacement part numbers in boook are NOT THE SAME AS ON LINE SO CANT COMMUNICATE WITH WITH COMPANY THAT HAS BANKER HOURS !!!

No instructions

Why are there no instructions with the remote hose kit? The hose does not fit the adapter nor the part that comes with the mow and vac… for dumb. Or am I.. although the smaller hose does fit the inside diameter of the smaller face plate

Good Add-On

The hose kit works well. It's a little stiff for getting into tight places but in general is a good addition to the unit for yard clean up. It takes some effort to get the hose inserted into the flange and the directions don't tell you that the hose goes on the inside not the outside of the flange like the mower hose does. Overall good addition to the unit.

Easy to use

Wish I would have bought this along time ago.This remote hose works great for hard to get places defenitly a need for people with alot of trees.Trust me you want regret it
