Converted fence panel into gate - solid result

I bought this kit to convert a standard fence panel into a 75" gate so my riding mower could access the backyard. Installation took about 3 hours from start to finish, and the process was straightforward — clear instructions and no surprises along the way. What I appreciate most is that it still looks like my original fence panel. Easiest gate

Very sturdy

Bought the gate up to 96 inches and needed almost all of it. The steel framing is solid and hopefully should hold up during the winter when we have 90+ mph winds.

Doesn't stay up without some modifications

Gate brackets would not stay level or stable on the square metal frame of the gate. They kept slipping down and falling off the post connections. Ended up having to drill through the bracket and gate frame and putting a bolt through to keep it in place. Other than that, the gate frame seemed to work well at keeping the fencing pickets in place.
