Kill outdoor ants before they make their way inside with Amdro Ant Killer for Outdoor Home Perimeter. Designed to surround your home with a band of protection, this dual-action bait attracts and kills listed common ant species. On top of that, it keeps working for up to three months. Foraging worker ants think the bait is food and carry it back to their colonies. Shared with other ants, including the queen, its ant-killing power goes to work. Expect to see fewer ants within one week. When the queen is dead, the mound dies

Appears to have worked

I took other steps to eliminate my carpenter ants but I suspect this product played a part. Price is reasonable and its easy to apply the granules. It absorbs moisture so I reapplied every couple of days. Its hard to find products that kill carpenters.
