App and instructions needs clarity
Product seems to be good but lack documentation. The app is horrible.
brand new unit leaking internally
brand new unit installed, hooked up and squirting water from inside black compressor (see video). Needed to pay out of pocket for replacement unit, manage delivery and take-away of bad unit, and pay plumber twice.
Cost vs value is worth it
110 plug and play made relocating my water heater a breeze. 66 gallon capacity makes for extra long showers too.
Well designed water heater
Very quiet even in heat pump mode. Very long electric cord and condensate drain line. Had it for 1 week and it is working well.

Quick installation, quiet operation
Takes up a fair amount of room, but once installed and gotten up to speed, this water heater is super quiet and very efficient. We look forward to seeing our energy costs go down with this water heater!

I had my eye on this hot water heater for a while and mine finally but the dust so I decided to pull the trigger. When I entered my zip code in to see what rebates I was eligible for, it stated I was eligible for the federal credit and a local credit. This was a factor in purchasing here. Don't do it
I know I thought the exact same thing. It's going to save a bunch of money on electricity it has a huge tank this is going to be wonderful! Before you buy this thing just Google search these hot water heaters and the kind of problems they have. I wish I would have listened to other people when they said that these cause problems. The warranty is a joke. If something goes wrong they want you to break out a volt meter and test things yourself, and if something needs fixed, for the cost of getting ...
