Designed for 3 to 5-person households when sized appropriately, it also has electronic controls which enable you to easily set operating mode, temperature, and child safety lock features. This model is Leak Shield® shut-off valve capable, which automatically turns off the water supply when a leak is detected (accessory sold separately). Its Tank Guard® advanced tank protection system includes a self-cleaning tube designed to reduce sediment build-up and extend the overall life of the water heater. A 9-year limited tank and parts warranty and a 2-year limited labor warranty provide peace of mind. It operates at a 0.92 Uniform Energy Factor for maximum energy efficiency and cost savings. A single plumber took only one hour to install this, including removing the old one. He said that they recommend this brand and it's what their supplier sells. I like the front panel display and app via WiFi. It did come with a dent but that did not affect how it functions.
