A.O. Smith 20.0-Gallon Vertical Well Pressure Tank

Perfect pressure

No corrosion noted as product is new. Last one was about 20 yrs old before bladder got a hole. Pressure is great. We are hoping this one which is the same brand but slightly bigger will last as long if not longer. Staff loaded tank into truck but didn’t lean it correctly so it fell off 1 small dent no other damage visible. The capacity is perfect well runs way less frequent than the smaller size which should help with electric bills. Price fit our budget as well. Feel like it was worth it.

Customer service sucks

Purchased a 36 gallon tank and at a year the plastic base broke causing tank to fall over and the pipe to break. Flooding my shed and of course it happened at 11pm. All that being said I’m not mad about the tank failure, I'm mad about sitting on hold for 2 hour and counting to try and warranty the tank.

Easy install

Most home owners can do it themselves. If you can do basick plumbing you can do it. Easy to install. Pre-pressurized. Box said pre pressure 25psi. Mine was 28.5psi. So double check that.

So far so good
