Flowers are too expensive. Flowers just sit in the dirt and have not grown and spread out nor become bushier nor added blooms. One plant died, others just sitting there though watered regularly and fed at time of planting a month ago. I planted in potting soil/mulch. Plants are always prettier at store and seem to lose luster when planted. Heath of plants seems good at time of purchase which is a plus.

Marigolds are always a good choice

I just gave it 4 stars because I bought them late and they haven't really had time to take off yet. Now the hail has set them further back, but if they do as well as others I've purchased other years, they should still be beautiful before summer is over - barring a frost in Sept. : ) Crazy weather this year.

Marigolds

I purchased the marigolds as a companion plant to help keep insects off the companion plant. I have taken good care of the marigolds, but this morning I noticed that some of the plants are dying. This is very typical of Lowes plants.

Love The Plants

I brought home a few of the scragglers. They were some of those that they clearance because not all of the plants survived. Well, this pack had half and they're all doing awesome. Beautiful color and that's saying something in this heat!

I chose this pack of marigolds for my porch planters. They are all flourishing nicely, although it is still early in the season. I expect them to get fuller as the summer progresses and they should be in full bloom well into fall.

First time

We have a part of our yard that is hard to find a plant that does well in. We thought we would try Marigolds so we will find out when the hot days of summer are here to see if they will be put back in one of our yards gardens. Which we have 11 of. Yes we do have a very elaborate yard set up all done by the wife and I.

Surviving the summer heat and beautiful color as well as mosquito deterrent makes this a good choice

Healthy flowers

This store's garden Dept takes good care of their plants. I've purchased many different ones and they have all been healthy.
