Not Metal Tape
product description is a bit misleading unless you read label carefully - its not metal tape ! Although rated to 230F it appears designed for low temperature ductwork and not dryer vent. The tape is quite thin and doesn't adhere to itself very well like other aluminum duct tape. It is cheap per foot but for a dryer vent I wouldn't recommend - get the right tape and do the job once

Doesn't stick well to its self.
I wrapped this tape around pipe insulation on an outside wayer line. After one week it's already lifting off of its self. I would not buy this again. It also seems very thin compared to what I used previously.
