The Green Velvet Boxwood is a dense evergreen shrub with rich-green foliage that will retain its color year-round. This Boxwood will have a naturally rounded grow habit if not pruned but can be shaded as desired. Use the green velvet to create low hedges, in foundation plantings, or in containers. This is a hardy evergreen that can thrive down to USDA zone 4 in the landscape. ---------- This item includes Two 2.5 Quart green velvet shrubs (live plants) in plastic pots with soil. The pots will be wrapped in a poly bag to retain moisture and hold any soil that shakes lose in shipping. The plant will be shipped in a cardboard box that has been designed to hold the plant in place to reduce any chance of damage in transit. As soon as the plant arrives it should be un-packaged, in-bagged, and watered. --------These plants ship from the gulf coast of Alabama. We recommend that customers outside of the southeastern United States order during the milder times of year (Spring/Fall) to prevent heat/cold stress during transit.
