Flowerwood 2.5 -Quart Elaeagnus Ebbingei Foundation/Hedge Shrub 1 -Pack

The Elaeagnus Ebbingei is an evergreen shrub with dark green leaves with a silver-hued underside. It produces white fragrant flowers that eventually turn into an ornamental silvery berry. This Elaeagnus grows well in USDA zones 7-9 and tolerates full sun to partial shade. It is often planted as a large hedge or privacy screen. When planting this shrub, dig a hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with native soil. Leave the top of the root ball half an inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil. As a lawn plant, use a slow-release granular fertilizer in the spring. It's not guaranteed to be in bloom on arrival. ---------- This item includes a 2.5 Quart Elaeagnus Ebbingei shrub (live plant) in plastic pots with soil. The pots will be wrapped in a polybag to retain moisture and hold any soil that shakes loose in shipping. The plant will be shipped in a cardboard box that has been designed to hold the plant in place to reduce any chance of damage in transit. As soon as the plant arrives it should be unpackaged, un-bagged, and watered. --------These plants ship from the Gulf Coast of Alabama.
