Caulk Gun

Your typical caulk gun. Used on a various applications around the house. Always good to have at least one around. Product wont blow you away but it gets the job done and applies a good amount of pressure to whatever can you are using with it. Works fine with me as I will only be using it on smaller things around the house. Such as windows or bathroom things.

This caulk gun appeared cheap & questionable if it could meet my needs. I tried for over an hour to get it to lock down enough to hold the caulk tube secure. It never would. The only caulk it did manage to get out was from the bottom of the tube. I don't know how it squeezed any out but, it caused me to also waste 1 of the 12 tubes I purchased. It works.

Cheap, but does the job

This is not a professional tool, but it does the job. There's a pin to poke out a silicone or tube of glue. It swings out and tucks back under the frame. This is a functioning tool. It's not the stiffest frame, so if you push hard, the frame will bend. The good thing is that you can bend it back. No worries. If you're looking for a cheap caulk gun, this will do the job.

Can use with any tube

Used to seal out door, bathroom, kitchen and anything that require any tube application. Been using it for the last 1 year and can say it the same for the less year. Easy to use and small and light weight. AS a new home owner this is one of the items you need as its so versatile. I have probably used this 10 tens and its still brand new

Nicely Priced

This review is for the Lowes 10oz. Project Source Caulk Gun. Upon receiving it one of the first things I notice was how light it was. This caulk gun is made out of thin sheet metal but does seems to be somewhat sturdy. Although the handle is okay it is a little small for bigger hands. The handle presses into you palm as you use it. easy to use and pretty sturdy

This caulk gun is very easy to load and use. It very sturdy which makes it easier to get a neat bead where you need it! I'd recommend it to anyone faced with the task of sealing gaps in fixtures.

Barely got the job done

While I understand this is not the most expensive caulk gun that Lowe's carries, this barely got the job done. I purchased it in Aug 2022 and used it to re-caulk the tub. Didn't touch it until today (obviously I don't need to caulk very much) and the gun doesn't pump well without holding the release button out to give resistance.

Good design. Decent quality

I do HVAC work so caulking guns get used fairly often. Usually for filling in holes around line-sets, wires and conduit. This caulking gun is very lightweight yet seems to be very well-made. This is the first caulking gun I’ve seen which uses a rubber grommet instead of a spring and lever to hold the rod and grip it. Seems to work very good and I’m impressed.
