What’s Included With Installation and Haul Away
Installation
- Appliance connection to an existing external exhaust duct
- Leveling and testing of the appliance to ensure proper connection
- Basic product demonstration
- Relocation of an old freestanding appliance within the same residence (in some locations, reconnection isn’t included)
For gas ranges, required parts are sold separately and will be automatically added to your cart with installation. The existing connector and cords can’t be used. For electric ranges, a new cord and plug are included.
Conversion from natural gas to propane is available on select items for an additional cost. A professional independent installer is required to perform this service. Please check your fuel source to determine the appropriate fuel type. Lowe’s will only install to an existing setup.
Haul Away
- Appliance haul away refers to the removal and disposal of old appliances.
- Haul away is an additional cost during an appliance purchase.
- Appliance haul away or relocation must be one for one.
- Unless you also buy installation, you must uninstall and disconnect appliances for haul away prior to the delivery team’s arrival.
Please note: Haul away may be refused due to safety reasons, such as pest infestation. If a service call is required due to haul away and isn’t completed, the same restrictions apply as for normal deliveries.
