Experiment with different angles and sizes by holding the bottom edge of your tablet against the bottom plinth block profile. Then slide the vertical block back and forth until it supports the tablet as you like it. Mark and cut the bottom plinth block to length. (We cut ours 6 inches long.) Sand both pieces with 120-grit sandpaper and then 180-grit sandpaper without damaging the profiles.
If you don’t have a miter saw or a table saw, ask a Lowe’s associate to trim the plinth block to size.
Lightly glue the plain end of the full-size plinth block and position it flush on the face of the shortened block as shown. Clamp or tape in place until the glue dries.
Sand the edges as needed to make them smooth and flush.
Apply paint or a clear finish as desired. If needed, apply rubber gripper pads to the bottom of the small block at the corners.
