It’s pricier than needed if you plan to hardwire it - I think the extra cost is due to the option to mount it to the wall and use with the attached plug. Easy Install

This is a really pretty wall sconce that was exactly what I needed for my basement stairs. The bronze finish has a nice transitional style that works well with various decor styles. I replaced an old ceramic light fixture with this sconce and the installation went smoothly with no problems at all. Great replacement

This light completely changed the look of our sunroom. We added fabric shade lamps to the coffee tables. Adding this lamp shade sconce pulled the look of this room together nicely.

Decent, but you get what you pay for.

The light is as shown in the photo and looks nice. However, it's difficult to get it flush to the wall with the mounting. I also bought two of these and only one worked when I got it home.

Works nicely in my living room

This is really the only in-stock light I found that I liked since the trend is towards tall skinny sconces or sconces that use Edison bulbs which I don't like for this application. This is a lovely wall sconce with a white linen shade horizontal in shape and I have the bronze base. I wish there were two of them because just one does not give off enough light. I was going to use it in my hallway entrance. It's more suitable for either side of the bed as it's only up to 60 watt maximum bulb. Great flexible light sconce

We really needed a light in our coffee bar area, but there is no wall light and did not want to put a table lamp on the bar. I came across this "convertible" light which means it comes with option to utilize a cord or hardwired into an electrical box. Nice lamp.

I especially like the shade because the shape basically matches the shade of the ceiling light, but I wouldn't have minded if the shade had been an inch or two shorter. I like the fact that you only have to turn the on/off switch to the right for both on and off. Because of having to use anchors for the base screws in the wall, the base doesn't sit flush with the wall which is a little annoying. The base plate evidently wasn't molded to allow for the top of the anchor that sits out from the wall...
