I would recommend these only to someone with the mechanical ability and tools to overcome hardware deficiencies. The dowel pins in the kit were too small and totally ineffective. The 'cam barrel' devices are made of soft metal that may break under the force required to seat and pull sections together. These two factors result in a useless and weak joint. Poor quality control
Ordered 2 closet systems and 1 tower. 3 draw packs for 6 draws. Bought 3 6ft shelves at the store . All are supposed to be Hartford White. 1 Cabinet was pure white the other was more like antique white. the shelves were mixed . All the draw packs were pure white. Once assembled nothing matched. Called customer service and it was a waste of time . Told me to box it up and return it. Had to paint the whole thing so the color matched. You would think White would be White. Buy something else.

very poor quality, not worth of money
Very flimsy and some screws just not able to tide up the pieces. paint already start peeling before assembly, also boards are not in same white color, i got few piece in cream white and some in pure white. Very Poor quality for this price

Poor manufacturing quality
Extremely disappointed with this Allen + Roth closet system. Quality control is lacking—several cam holes were only halfway bored out, making it impossible to insert the cam locks properly, and one of the main panels arrived cracked out of the box. To make matters worse, when I called the customer support number printed on the manual, I was told they do not ship replacement parts to Hawaii. Kind of flimsy, but looks amazing once assembled
The installation assumes your studs are exactly 16 inches on center. Anything over or under that and it will not work. Also it assumes that the two studs you're attaching to are dead center in the closet. Otherwise it will be up to 8 inches off center, depending on stud locations. It also feels very flimsy, especially at the connection between the top half and the bottom half and the super short screws that attach the rod bases to the unit. The tower is nice and well made, but if you want to add any shelves to the tower... good luck. Customer service on this was very close to non-existent. Online the customer service sends you to some other service who at one point said I should contact Lowe's, but it was the contact from Lowe's that sent me there. Bottom line, you cannot get any shelves and I had to make them myself to get this done.

Perfect for what we needed
Purchased this closet system for a basement bedroom and it looks great thanks to my handyman Husband to get it installed!!! I like the fact that it sits up off of the floor for easy cleaning underneath the cabinet. It's very solid and most importantly, functional for guests!

I put together the closet system and did not have too many problems. The drawer is not aligned well and sticks going in and out. The space in the tower really needs more shelves, but they are impossible to even purchase. Lowe's has nothing in stock and Allen+Roth does not really exist. Simple to assemble and very functional
I read the other reviews stating how hard this was for them. I experienced no issues and I have a non-standard closet space. I will say that you need to be DIY skilled to handle this. You need to be able to read blueprints and be able to interpret them. The instructions are not great but they are ok.
