I read the other reviews stating how hard this was for them. I experienced no issues and I have a non-standard closet space. I will say that you need to be DIY skilled to handle this. You need to be able to read blueprints and be able to interpret them. The instructions are not great but they are ok. Hartford Ventilated Closet System

Decided on the Allen and Roth system, after being priced thousands for basic closet system, some were made of melamine, others looked like layered cardboard. Only hiccup was items selling fast, and restock timeframe was not available. Anyway, I am happy with the look and material, by the way make sure your wall can hold the system. There are work arounds. Lowe’s doesn’t install, but I had a contractor do mine.

Low Quality

I've assembled many all-in-one boxes of furniture/cabinetry. I expect imperfections. The primary issue with this system is the structure itself. I've used the cam lock and bolt mechanisms before in assembling and never had any issues. These do not fit together, the locks are brittle, the bolts are too thin, and there is no 'lock' aspect. This closet system claims to be for 5ft-8ft closet spaces, leading you to believe it is customizable. If you start construction without reading the instructions first, you’ll find out at STEP 15 that you need to “hire an insured home remodeler” to cut down the top shelf with proper tools. Great quality but off-gassing is strong

I bought this after seeing the display in Lowe’s I found it looked the closest to custom that I could find without looking cheap. Easy to put together, one of the slides for the drawers broke but Lowe’s customer service sent a replacement right away. My only complaint is the off gassing is awful. It's good..if you can build it

This is a nice closet shelf organizer, after you get past the building / setup part. My chief complaint (and why only three stars) is the instructions. Printed on 7 by 11 pages, the instructions are terrible. They have reduced the picture/diagrams to 2" by 2" boxes, and used a 12 or 14 font for the text. Why they did this is beyond me. I read other reviews before making my purchase, and I would agree with them. The instructions were easy enough to follow, just take your time. Having a little handy man experience under your belt would be a bonus, and setting this joker on the wall brackets is a two man operation for sure. The materials feel pretty solid, but is still pressed “wood.” When you make your cuts, I’d recommend throwing some masking tape down along your cut line to minimize, not eliminate, laminate splintering. DO NOT BUY

Absolute nightmare to assemble. Nothing lines up. The back has a slight overhang around the rest of the cabinet. To get it to slide over so the other pieces could be seated other parts of wood were splitting. I would strongly not recommend. We bought 4 of them for our master closet and now I'm mad I have to rebox the one we opened somehow and then lug all 4 back to Lowe's and they are heavy.

Transformed closet into the 2020’s

The worst part about this kit is assembling everything because it is needlessly difficult on account of the instructions. They are so poorly written that I actually had to take some images of a diagram to enlarge it to be able to see what the hell they were directing you to do.
