The toilet bowl and seat are too small in length and width for a woman of plus size. It was my mistake in selecting the 'round' style to accommodate my bathroom size and style. I replaced round style that I had for 20 years, but this current round style appears to run smaller. This toilet feels like I am sitting on a little bucket. Poor QC

This toilet leaked between the bowl and the tank no matter what we did. tried with the included gasket, didnt' work. Called the company and was sent replacement bolts and gasket, didn't work. Bought a new set of bolts and gasket, didnt' work. Return process was a nightmare. We used to depend on this brand but it's a known defect in a certain % of these toilets. Went with the Toto Drake and had no issues whatsoever.

Do Buy This

We bought this toilet for a bathroom remodel. We have previously purchased American Standard toilets (2) and were able to install them without issues. This one, however, is a totally different story. We were able to install the bowl without a problem, but the tank to bowl does not fit correctly and leaks. Second AS Purchase

I purchased an AS Champion toilet about a year ago and it has been superb. I gave it 5 stars. Powerful flush every time and still going strong. I purchased a second one about two weeks ago and had my plumber install it. Tho new one doesn’t have as strong a flush. Parts needed replacement in less than a year

If I'd written this review immediately after buying, it would have been positive. However, about 10 months after installation, the toilet started running uncontrollably. From searching online, it appears that this is a common problem. To their credit, American Standard did honor the warranty by sending a free replacement kit. Don't use Lowes for Plumbing installations.

Lowes 3rd party installed this toilet and Tank on Friday 6/26/26. next day there was leaking around bottom of toilet, we had to turn off valve to water. the toilet was moving when sat on. and there was such a sewer small coming out of toilet. this was a lousey installation by 2 young guys who seem to not know what they were doing . I doubt they were plumbers. bad experience!!! please do not use Lowes for Installation!!!

Poor manufacturing and QC

Several years ago I bought an American Standard Champion toilet because the Lowe’s employee recommended it saying “it will NOT stop up and overflow”. Garbage

Nothing but trouble from the day i installed it. I paid $800 for a plumber to install it and it leaked the next day from the tank/bowl connection. The plumbing outfit said they would not cover the repair because i bought it at Lowes. This is the notorious leak that everybody complains about, American Standard should be ashamed to sell this product. I hope Lowes takes all their toilets off the shelf! I will never buy an AS product again. AS or AS!!!

I bought this last week with curbside pick up, when I got home I found out it was an open box and the toilet was so dusty (it's not even in a plastic bag). I think it's either a display or a returned item. I paid full price and I'm returning it.

I bought both toilets at the same time & they both had the same leaking problem. I had to have a plumber $200 to change the tank washers & bolts with rubber ones. The ones that came with the toilets would not work.
