Really nice looking
The butcherblock had a few imperfections, likely from handling at Lowes. I did not notice until I stained them unfortunately. Luckily many of them were where i put the sink. They look beautiful in my kitchen, we will see how they hold up.

Nearly 200 lb item shipped in cardboard, damaged
We ordered this lovely countertop from Lowe's store and selected Delivery. The third-party delivery driver left it in our driveway already damaged, but I caught him before he left our yard. The problem is that it's packaged in plastic wrap and cardboard, no wooden frame inside the packaging to protect the items edges. I received the item timely, and uppn delivery took it into a room where it will be to stabilize the temperature. Once I unpacked it and was ready to start the project, I noticed it was already slightly bowed, so I am not sure if couple of rips in the packaging could have contributed to this while in warehouse or during transport since it was pretty cold on the delivery date. Small defects
It says it is finish ready, and I guess it is if you dont care too much. I felt the surface was a bit too rough to be 100% ready for the finish as this is a countertop, people will lean on it, you'll need to wipe it...you're gonna notice its not smooth eventually. I had to use 400g sandpaper to remove rough spots, saw marks and wood filler. Mind you, this is all before I even did the layout for the sink. Uneven Color
One piece would not get as dark as the other when applying the oil for the finish. It had very light pieces of wood that would not take any color. One piece turned out beautifully, the other was very disappointing.

Beautiful Island Top, not without defects
Helping my father in law renovate his kitchen and purchased this for him for an early father's day present. There's some obvious defects, but there's a pith in the top that is eventually going to come apart. I wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't a woodworker. Item was never received.
We waited for 4 weeks for these items, and it was never received. No one could locate where it was in the shipping process. It just showed shipped, but was never received at the store. As a business installing items for a client, this is unacceptable.

Love the look...make sure plastic isn't opened...
Plastic was ripped open. Product was dinged up in a few places. One of the boards had a bow to it. My guess is it set on the shelf being exposed to the air for who knows how long. Took lots of sanding to get it to line up with the other countertop. I like the look though. Would recommend with plastic intact.
