I've had this thing for 6 months, already had to have it repaired. I'll give Whirlpool credit for quick, professional service people and no haggle warranty. It seems to get stuck in rebalancing or frequently going off balance. I've been doing laundry for 50 years, I know how to load a washer. It sits level. Still it goes off balance and shuts down. 1 year in and won't finish a cycle
Don't waste your money. Got this one bc we didn't want one with too much computer programming. Still has too much. 1 year in and it won't run a spin cycle. Constantly runs a drain cycle requiring it to be unplugged between uses. Can't force it thru a cycle like you could older non-computerized models. Control board fails after warranty expires
I purchased this machine in September 2024. May 2026 the control board goes out. That part is over $200 and no longer covered under the one year warranty. I expected better from a company that advertises it's longevity on appliances, but sadly I have been disappointed. My loyalty to this brand expired with the high cost of repair on a machine less than two years old.

Didn't make it to 2 years
I bought this washer back in July of 2024 and last night it completely stopped working. It started with the washer would be done and then get stuck on flooded mode where it tries to drain even with it turn off. It was a sensor issue that apparently whirlpool has a recall on. Well last night the washer went into the last spin cycle and shut off, locked the washer door so I couldn't get the clothes out. Fixing the problem would be more expensive then just replacing that whole machine. Not worth it...

BRAND integrity
This washer has simple dial/performance controls that replaced my +30 year Whirlpool. with 3.5 cubic ft tub size i easily did my Normal load , Blanket & linen load , and All white bleach mode with its custom settings the christening. This model also allowed me to install and take home myself and out the box, connect , Plug and Perform.

I bought one of these in July 2023. by December 2024 it would only drain and not turn off. Called Whirlpool and it was going to cost over $300 for a repair guy to come diagnose. New Whirlpool Washer Does Not Disappoint!
I am pleased with everything about this washer! We replaced our Whirlpool washer that we have had many years. This newer model is very easy to operate & perfect for our two-adult household. It conserves water, is quiet & efficient! Would recommend this model to anyone who doesn't want all the bells & whistles & technology of high-end washers.

Caught on fire

Stuck in Wash Cycle After 1 Year of Purchase
