great model w/ one flaw it with the filter sys

I did deduct one star because the door to change the filter he is flimsy and hinges already broken and it is not convenient to replace the filter each time I have to almost empty the entire shelf.

Rushed purchase but pleased

Spacious but loud

I purchased this Whirlpool refrigerator to replace my 20+ year old Whirlpool that had finally given out. Whirlpool has always been known for its quality in the refrigerator game, so I wanted to stick with the brand. I was drawn to this model because it did not have ice/water in the door. Reasonable Value but Questionable Performance

Bought this a couple of years ago to replace an LG whose compressor failed after 9 years. The price was right but not the features we necessarily wanted as this was what was available in the aftermath of COVID. We do a lot of our own cooking, and we make use our refrigerator. filters are expensive and dont work

Had a "Kenmore" and it was fairly new. It clunked out on us. . We spent a heafty upfront repair fee only for the kid to tell us he could not repair what was not working fifteen minutes after troubleshooting it; so we shopped for another new fridge. Was told ther Whirlpool was the best brand so we got this one. I was pleased to see that the water dispenser was inside the fridge separate from the ice maker. Constant Troubles

Ever since we purchased this refrigerator we've had constant problems with the freezer. The freezer light won't come on because the switch is frozen from water dripping from somewhere in the refrigerator, most probably from the drinking water spout which is constantly leaking. The temperature in the freezer occasionally starts to rise without an obvious reason. It is difficult to get under the refrigerator to clean because of the design. We will never buy this brand again!

Terrible refrigerator

We bought this refrigerator about a year and a half ago, I would warn everybody NOT to get this, I know it is a simple refrigerator, but there are no alarms to let you know if the doors are not closed, especially the freezer. If the freezer is not completely closed it frost over in the matter of hours and then takes days for it to go back to normal. get the extended warranty

Just made 4 yrs old and had to pay a repair company to replace a part $187 and it did not fix the issue. The motor is going out. I did not purchase the extended warranty. if you buy I highly recommend getting it. Today we don't not live in made to last, we live in made to replace unfortunately

I do like it, but just a few annoying things

Now there is a humidity button. The humidity function has to be on all the time or there will be condensation build up on the door mullion and on the items in the refrigerator. Worst Appliance Ever Purchased

I bought this exact Refrigerator only in the 25 cu ft. After the 1 year warranty which is all Whirlpool gives you I purchased an extended warranty as I was told by repairmen I would need it. Sure enough the refrigerator and freezer quit causing hundreds of dollars worth of food to be thrown away. Check your extended warranty company. Whirlpool only uses 1 third party.
