Lowe's & FedEx delivered my first Whirlpool Water Softener (WWS) in a damaged box. The damaged box contained a damaged WWS. I bought this to replace and older model that Malfunctioned after 8 years. It worked great till then. I hose this one to be an improvement over the last one. Great water softener packed with features!

Prior to purchasing this specific unit, I did a lot of research and I found this to be the best one for my home water needs. Arrived broke & lowes won’t fix

Chose to have this delivered so as to not deal with the hassle of picking it up in the store as it is over 100lbs. Upon unboxing it, there were cracked pieces inside the box, upon further assessment, the entire piece on the inside is completely cracked. Easy Kenmore Replacement

I have 1 inch supply lines with the identical Kenmore diversion valve as this model. I snapped the fittings together and voila! No modifications to my plumbing were needed. The app is great and has all the controls a freak like me loves but my wife hates!

Dead out of the box

This unit was dead immediately after installation. Installation is straight forward, not complicated. However, the venturi was clogged right off the bat, there was excess water, but I thought it was by design since the water felt soft. Two months later, there was still excess water, and the water doesn't feel soft anymore. I called whirlpool tech support, they were helpful, and sent me a replacement part, it works now. Really works great, WiFi very nice!

It was a drop in replacement for my old one. I really like having WiFi access to see the units status and salt levels. And it's really interesting to be able to see how many gallons of water is used every day. And it will alert you if it thinks there is a water leak. And it works even better than the old one. It was also very easy to setup and get going. The hardest part of the whole installation process was lifting it.

Love the WiFi feature.

I bought this on September 1st and wrestled it down our basement stairs the next morning. It took a few hours to remove our old water softener, wreck out some plumbing, and install the new this with the three valve bypass.
