USE EXTREME CAUTION: Would use negative 5 if I could! This poor excuse for a company delivers a shiny new $3100 riding lawn mower that won't start because the battery is dead. I called and asked them to have someone simply bring a battery that works to replace the one-day old battery. They declined. I demanded they come and pick up the garbage because I was not accepting the hunk of tin. They blamed it on Toro, saying this happens to all the Toro lawn mowers. Well, that's encouraging!! I di...
Mower is great. Lowes very low grade
As far as I can tell at this point, the mower works just fine. First problem was due to my bank's sloppiness. The purchase was cued as a possible fraud charge and due to my bank's sloppy follow through after I confirmed the purchase still rejected the payment. Lowes of course was late in recognizing the fact. I notified Lowe's online chat that the charge was rejected and their records did not clearly indicate this matter. On the chat line, I was instructed that the mower would be delivered....

6 trips, 9 hours, two mowers, 1 week.
Order the first one online from the closest store to me. Said it had to be assembled by the 3rd party crew that comes. Got the text saying ready for pick up. I get there, waiting 1.5 hours for them to find it. Was stored on top of 3rd shelf. Used a forklift to get it down which severely scratched up the back of the mower. My grass is out of hand so I had to take it. Get it outside off the forklift. Against policy for them to drive it on my trailer. So we pushed it on. I get home and it...

Great product and easy to operate
Love it, easy to maneuver and operate and with my yard and what I was paying, it will pay for itself in 10 months. On plus side we have an authorized Toro deal and service right on 206…..sure seems like a win-win to me

toro review
After only a 2 month ownership, the solenoid froze, causing me to pay to have the mower brought to a shop for warranty repairs. It seems to me that Toro should be responsible for transit expenses.

Beware of online purchasing
Toro Timecutter is fine. Purchasing online was a nightmare. Bought online & was told 3 days to assemble before I could pick it up. Next morning I was told it was ready & went and got it. Got home & realized it was used. Scratches, dents, broken hose nozzle attachment. Then I found the main belt was missing. Found the used broken belt under the seat. Called store & after numerous "holds" & transfers between employees, finally was told that a new mower would be delivered & the old one picked up. I...

Affordable price, but corners have been cut
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s an affordable price point, but it comes with its downsides. The tires do not grip very well, so it does not do very well on steeper incline. The engine is also undersized.

Died After First Cut
Like many others have said, it was delivered with battery issues. it's amazing that so many reviews say this, but Lowes can't fix it. I took the battery out, and the manager at Lowes replaced it and took care of everything. The staff was great. As for the mower, I give it 4.5 stars. I've only used it 4 times, but I have to say it works really well. The cut is great and I have no complaints. I have a little less than half an acre, and this mower blows right through it. Hopefully, it doesn't die o...
