Titan Control Max 1700 Paint Sprayer and Attachments

I don't know why Lowes sells this brand

misleading model numbers, I bought the "1700" because it was the middle range unit and the specs say it will spray unthinned primer. turns out it only produces 1500 PSI, Even their top model, th "1900" only produces 1600 PSI. Most primers need 2000 PSI. Don't waste your time.

Good quality, but need to improve instructions

If anything on the machine needs improvement, I would improve the quality of the spray gun hose. Hose seems like it would easily kink when tugged on. Since the hose was new, it was stiff and difficult to easily maneuver. Maybe a rubber hose instead of a plastic-like coated hose would be a better option. Solid airless sprayer for medium to large projects

Pleasantly surprised

Used this for base trim and door jambs, the lower pressure helped control the overspray. Comes with a 30’ hose, that’s a bit stiff when combined with the gun provided. Great for large projects

But I have done some test sprays with it and compared to other sprayers I have used it seems to have less overspray like it claims and still lays down a fairly decent Coat of paint. We used it to paint two ceilings and a wall about 3 gallons of paint total. I wish we had had more to paint. It was that fun.
