Multipurpose Utility Knike

I habitually keep a utility knife in my workshop apron and this device will replace the current one there. It is longer so it is easier to pull out. I feel that it is safer to use since the surface provides more traction and the finger guard is a little further back on the body of the knife. I like the orange detail on the back of the grip since it immediately tells my brain which end is "up, back and safe" when I grab it. The Toughbuilt scraper utility knife is a great, versatile tool to add to the toolbox. So far I have used it for multiple projects around the house and it has been quite handy. It has easily outperformed my old scraper, mostly because of its size and weight; whereas other scrapers are too flimsy or awkward to hold. Feels like a well made tool... but it's not.

Having seen this in several YouTube "great tools under $20" type videos, I was excited to see this in the store and futz with it. The flippy mechanism was neat, and I loved the heft of it. I bought this about a month ago, and it's been my daily knife in my toolbag. It really only gets used to strip caulk out during renovations. While everyone else seems to have issues with the rotating mechanism, my issues were with the blade lock mechanism. It's completely seized in place, nothing is visibly blocking it, and no matter what I do the blade release won't move and now I'm stuck with a blade that's duller than my outlook on life permanently attached. Daily use for several months

As a glazier I've been using this daily for several months so far. Works fine as a knife to cut things etc. The scraper function is handy for cleaning glass when a razor is not on hand. Much quicker than taking off the blade just to scrape some glass and putting it back into the knife. Just have to make sure the blade isn't worn down otherwise the glass will get scratched. The only downside is that it is a little bulky.
