Easy Install but One Flaw

It has an easy install overall. I bought this same one, just an older model, about 5 years ago. I only replaced it because the old one rusted. My complaint is that the piece that hold the covers is hard to screw fully back on once the covers are on. It also has a sharp edge so therefore I ended up cutting my hand when attempting to tighten them fully.

Easy to install, good value

Easy install, globes can hang down or point up (how we installed them). A good match for an oiled bronze faucet. Had to return the first box due to a thread issue on the bar. Second box and everything lined up and assembled perfectly.

Great light for smaller vanities and for DIY!

Attractive light

I received a Style Selections 2-light vanity bar with a brushed nickel finish (#598665) from Loews to review. Note: the shades are sold separately so if you are replacing a fixture, you might want to save your shades. I wanted to provide light in a dim corner of a room that has a freezer. Simple install

The fixture was relatively simple to wire and install. The only change that would make it easier to install would be to put the screws on the flat face of the fixture instead of the edges. Since the edges are only about 1/2 inch, it is a little difficult to hold the screw and get a screwdriver turning so close to the wall.

Awkard Installation

Required 3 hours to install and 20% of the job took 80% of the time. The house did not have a junction box so the mounting plate was attached to drywall. No problem. Two criticisms: 1) I used a level to meticulously get the mounting plate absolutely level. Despite that, the fixtures are biased and the far right and far left light sockets don't hang evenly. 2) The mounting screws attaching the fixture to the mounting plate are hard to install. Nice smaller light for over bathroom sink. Took one star off as difficult to to thread shade holders in place.

Attractive and modern bar/sconce for smaller areas

I replaced my existing hallway half bath vanity bar sconce with this new sconce. It is an attractive fixture that looks modern and up to date. I needed to replace my current fixture as it was 17 years old and a bit dated. It was easy to install using the existing electrical outlet box unit. Check the box in store before you take it home

We bought 2 of these and also 2 of the 3 light models. We had an electrician come and do the install. On opening one of the 4 light boxes, we found a damaged and scratched light fixture and nothing else. No back plate, no screws, no instructions and no wire nuts. We called the store we bought it from. To say they were unhelpful is putting it mildly. I ended up making a 50 mile round trip to a different Lowes to pick up a replacement. A very good looking stylish vanity light

I was very pleased with this light. The photos online and on the box don't do it justice. The brushed nickle finish is a rich looking surface, it was easy to install in a temporary space (my bathroom renovation was delayed) and I like the idea that it can be mounted upright or down. Don't forget that this does NOT come with shades, you must buy them separately. I don't have mine yet so the photos just show standard size lightbulbs to show that the unit does, in fact work.
