The photo doesn't do the crates any justice because the stain reflected weirdly. The crates are the same color as the table. I'm doing reno & needed semi-temporary storage (not big black plastic bins with yellow handles in the dining room ..ehh!). Dimensions are far off!
I picked this up today in a Lowe's store. Both the shelf tag AND the allen+roth sticker on the crate list the dimensions as 18"x 14.75. Yes, 14, not 12 (see photo) however the crate is actually lust under 12.5 externally and less than 12" internally. Here on the website, the dimensions say 12.75 - which is still not quite accurate, but I can't explain why the labels at the store all say 14". Almost all of them were broken
Of the twelve I ordered 6 were only useful as tinder. I did not have time to send them back and try to get more, but it was a total disappointment. Very pretty, shiny, and handy size
I got this to hold bread and Little Debbie's in the kitchen but it was so pretty and light weight, I decided to buy another one to hold my winter items (gloves, hats, ice scraper, etc.) as winter is next month & I want to quickly find BOTH gloves this year! NOT FOR RECORDS
Beware... these are barely over 12" tall and DO NOT fit 12" vinyl records (as they would if the 12.75" dimension were correct). Very disapppointed. Paid for delivery of 12 of these, and have to return them all. Otherwise, maybe a goood buy. Not the sturdiest. But nice to look at.
Great boxes for most anything
I bought 2 of these crates before. At that time I was remembering the milk crate that my father used when delivering milk in the '50s and '60s. I wanted them for my VHS tapes.
