Sprite Slim-line Chrome Shower Head Filter with Replacement Filter

I buy this product every 6 months for last ten years. The product is excellent in filter out bad things in Raleigh water system.

Installed this in the shower and no more smell

This works great if you have sulfur water. I noticed a difference in the smell and overall quality of the water coming from the shower. The slim-line design doesn’t take up much space and the chrome finish looks good with the existing shower setup. Installation was straightforward, and I really like that the filter is designed to last up to 6 months. It’s a simple upgrade that made a noticeable difference in my shower, especially with sulfur water.

PLUMBERS TAPE is a must! Forget silicone.

Use a nice amount of PLUMBERS TAPE where the filter is installed and on the tip for the attachment. I would NOT use silicone. That should solve the leaking problem.

Leaks Water and Does Lower Water Pressure

Water leaks where one one would unscrew the mechanism that holds the filter despite having used silicone lubrcant as recommended if it leaks. Also, water pressure seems to be 50% or less than our normal without it. Granted,, it does say it profides 2.5 gallons per minute, but had no idea what 2.5 gallons per minute would feel like. Yes, it does seem to lessen or do away with chlorine itch, but cannot address the other things it says it does. Going on faith for the latter. Deffinitely does no...

Just don't...

The latest replacement filter change has gone badly. It leaked violently, even through the date area. I removed and checked the filter a couple of times hoping an O-ring was out of place or that I left a paper seal over the cartridge. (Maybe that was the problem - there were no paper seals when I opened the box.) The one place that didn't leak was the connection to the shower pipe coming out of the wall and now that is frozen to the top of the filter housing. I can't use the shower at all no...

This works so well especially with hard water. Its good for your hair, for keeping grit out.

Great Affordable Filter

I love this affordable shower filters and they work great... Lately they can be tricky when changing the filter .. they seem to leak and need to be replaced with a new one... But they work great when you have a good one...

Not a good fit out of box

The fitting that the shower head attaches too. Is not the same size as the pipe out of the wall for the shower. I had to use jb weld to attach the shower head. It was almost the proper size. But as soon as the shower head would get snug, it would pop loose and leak water everywhere. Other than that it seems to be a good fit and work decently

Easy to install and you don’t even see it after a short time. I like knowing my shower water is filtered and my skin feels better already!
