What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this Shop Vac for its powerful suction, compact 4-6 gallon design, and excellent value. Most highlight exceptional performance despite its small size, noting it handles wet and dry cleanup, dust, and debris effectively. The lightweight, portable design with long power cord and included attachments like brushes and wands receives consistent appreciation. Many find it ideal for garages, cars, and workshops. Some report issues with the on/off switch or wheel attachment, and a few describe rare motor failures, but these concerns represent a small minority. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend it as a versatile, reliable choice.

The switch is defective after less than a year of use. I guess I should be thankful that it won't turn off until I unplug it. It has great suction, but not with certain attachments which doesn't make sense. Would not buy again.

Will never buy a shop vac again
Shopvac is not what they used to be. This will be my last one. After about 2 years of headaches, it just went into the trash can. I have had this thing apart at least 3 times to troubleshoot and repair. Some of it was simple like a bad power switch. The thing I can’t figure out now is the noise. It is unbelievably loud. There are all kind of troubleshooting ideas online. Some said the fan is messed up, maybe bearings or motor. All I know is that it is not worth my time. My last one bef...
A replacement for my old Shop Vac that died
Liked the suction power of the vacuum and the outlet that can be used as a blower. The hose holders that mount on the feet are a bit difficult to attach. I broke a tab off of one of them. I contacted Shop Vac and they will be sending me a new one. Also, the hose size was different from my original, but I was able to purchase an adaptor to go from a 1.5" to 1.25", so I was able to use all of my old attachments.

Good vacuum for around the house or vehicles
It's lightweight and has good suction. The little bucket stores the attachments on board. The hose is a perfect length for vacuuming around the house and vehicles.

Bad Switch
The vacuum worked well for about a year, then wouldn't turn on. I disassembled the head and found that after cleaning the switch contacts it began working again. This happened twice more within a year, after which I decided to junk it.
Already read all the bad reviews
Bought this for a remodeling job. It runs and functions as any SHOP VAC should. We remodeled a whole home cleaning as we went. The top did NOT pop off the hoses did NOT clog, it WAS loud, no louder than any other shop vac. I bought this intentionally when reviews said the top popped off. If the top is put on correctly it don't pop off. A great little unit.
Okay but not as nice as the older versions
Lid pops off. It's very clumsy to use and maneuver around. Falls over a lot. The floor cleaning end does not work as well as the previous versions and you have to hold it just right to get materials off the floors. You will need and extension cord and to buy attachments at the 1 1/2 inch size.
Nice little machine
We used to have a huge shop vac that we used for many years. Mostly we used it for draining the dirty water off the top of our pool when winter was done here in Michigan. The pool cover would be full of leaves, dirt, insects, sometimes dead birds, etc. It did a great job! But eventually after 20 years of this it died. I purchased this new one to vacuum out my new smoker/grill. It works great! I was a little disappointed that it was so small, but it is perfect for this job.

This "Shop-Vac" really sucks! But in a good way!
This vacuum was a long time coming. I tried and still struggle with my "Shark" which plugs up repeatedly with dog hair at every use. The first task I did was to vacuum the dust and dirt out of my used furnace filters. When I was finished they looked great and saved me buying new ones. The next "acid test" for this little vacuum was my two dogs hair which collected in all the various corners of the house. Seriously, every time I opened or closed a door I could see a little hair tornado swirl...

I can still pat my head while I rub my stomach.
I was looking at a smaller unit but the store was out if stock. For the price difference I am glad the I did purchase the larger unit. If this plastic unit is near as good as the metal one it is replacing then my grand kids will probably still be using it. I think that the instructions of description on the outside of the box should be reviewed. I didn't realize the foam filter was included in the package. I also didn't realize the foam filter is supposed to replace the paper filter when j...
