SHIPPING IS TERRIBLE

This item was to be delivered last Sunday. It keeps being delayed. Federal Express is the shipper. I received a text yesterday saying they had tried to deliver it and could not. Not true. They never tried. I call Federal Express yesterday and was told that was a bogus message and she would make the delivery high priority and it would be delivered today. No delivery again. Handle Broke in under 3 months

Purchased this safe on January 16, loved it at first although bigger than what i needed it for. Well that turned quick, on 3/27 i went to get some cash out and the handle was broken. safe wouldn't open. Immediately tried to contact sentrysafe to trouble shoot and still have not heard back from them. That being said, i busted this thing open in under 2 minutes with a flathead screwdriver. Was worried i would have to use a saw but much easier to break in to.

Amazing Durable Safe

It is a level 3 Sentry safe that is both waterproof and fireproof affording me the ability to keep important documents and valuable personal items in a secure durable spot. It can withstand up to 1700 degrees Fahrenheit in a fire for up to one hour and up to 5 inches of water for 24 hours. It is a bit heavy at 55 lbs., so most likely it’s the type of safe you find a place for and you leave it there....

Offers a peace of mind

It really offers a peace of mind to have some of our valuables protected in case tragedy strikes. This safe is large enough to store quite a few items and documents, but small enough to conceal easily in the home. Too little information

We had to return the item as the manual said it wasn't suitable for magnetic media. We wish that was visible on the outside of the box as we needed a safe for that purpose. Also, the heat and water ratings have no context. For example, rated up to 1700 degrees - is that good? How does that compare to a typical house fire. Pretty meaningless without context.

Secure and easy to use

We picked up the safe at our local Lowe’s. It was easy to unpack, set up and register. I added my own code for opening. The directions are concise and clear. It’s also easy to see why desiccant should be kept in the safe since it is quite tight as might be expected for a fireproof and waterproof safe.
