Elegant but solid deadbolts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our Kwikset deadbolts with Schlage Encode when we purchased new doors. Installation was easy as we followed the directions. Only glitch we experienced was we had purchased both the Schlage wifi handles and the wifi deadbolts. Both do not fit on one door. We decided to keep the wifi deadbolts and use a regular keyed handle. These fit together perfectly. Connecting to wifi, was a breeze. Adding both the front and back deadbolt...

Units die after a year or more

we bought two of these units a couple of years ago at the exact same time for our front and back door. After about a year the front door unit stopped working randomly. swap the batteries, even took him multimeter to verify the terminals were getting 6 volts across. Just recently the the other failed

It's easy to connect, and super handy to create new codes, delete old codes, etc, all from our phones. It gives us the freedom to manage guest access even when we're traveling ourselves. Thumbs up!

I love the wifi and app connection and just having the peace of mind that I can know my door is locked or unlocked wherever I am. Additionally, the ability to lock it with the app if it's not locked is a great feature.

The matte black finish looks incredibly sharp, and the clean geometric lines give the door a high-end, modern edge. It’s sturdy, easy to put together, and operates smoothly right out of the box. Absolutely loving it so far!

Solid unit

I like that it's an all-in-one so I don't have to purchase a separate module to have it connect to wifi. The only con I would say is with the installing instruction. I lived in a rental unit and the hole where my deadbolt was was too small for the unit with the metal bracket on. I did take it off so the unit would fit. But there was no mention in their instruction ab...

Installation could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's worked okay, but installation was a bit of a hassle. It refused to pair with my phone. Installed and uninstalled the app, turned Bluetooth on and off, nothing worked. Finally resorted to doing a full reset which seemed to fix the issue.
