Super solid lock!

Expensive Piece of Junk — Worked for a Year, Then

I would not recommend this Schlage smart lock. It worked reasonably well for about a year, and then it started working only intermittently. Eventually, it stopped working altogether. I replaced the batteries with brand-new ones, went through all of the troubleshooting steps, and even contacted Schlage customer service. The lock won't connect properly, and it won't even complete a factory reset, so there is no way to set it back up and start over. For a product this expensive, I expected consider...

We love how easy it is to program door codes remotely for guests, etc. we have this same lock at a total of 2 properties and it is very comparable and so easy to use. Once in a while it does have a WiFi glitch and I have had to set it up again. I would definitely recommend this lock to those with short term rentals.
