This paint goes on smoothly and has a high quality metallic shine. I only had to use one coat on most projects and it dries quickly

Great Product, 6/5 Stars

I loved working with this. I lacquered a sousaphone valve section with this and was very pleased with the results. Took the instrument from rusted and ugly to attractive and protected from wear and tarnish. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to give an old, ugly piece of metal new life.

Not Chrome

If the finish was like the cap on the spray can it would be outstanding. Sadly the finish is not even close! It is silver all day long. If you want chrome try something else.

Shiny chrome finish

Fantastic! My chrome shower caddy was in good shape but had some rust. Was going to just buy a new caddy but finding a chrome one is impossible. This paint saved the 20 year old caddy. I also used it to paint a concrete squirrel.

Better than expected

Perfect bright gold spray paint. Lighter soft yellow-gold shade, very similar to the color of the lid on the bottle, not as brassy as the gold shown in the web photo for the product. My expectations for any remotely authentic metal appearance were low, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Dries smooth and shiny to look like the actual texture of gold plated metal (not shiny but not matte either, you know), and the spray/can are forgiving on my impatient technique. Glimmers!

I was making a little trophy out of wood for a competition at school and needed really shiny gold. This did the trick. I would recommend priming first so it doesn’t need as many coats to get to a high level of shine.

I love this "gold"

Make sure you continue to shake the bottle after each spray. It is a good product but i notice that i had to spray paint 3 times to get an even color. Make sure you practice spray painting with this can and shake every time because the pigment settles in the bottom fast. Price is not expensive. I do recommend this spray can just practice on a old cardboard and get the even look.

I haven’t yet used this paint, the weather is too cold. I did however, find it several $ cheaper at (I won’t mention the name but it’s the ‘place with the helpful hardware man). Lowes is more convenient because of it’s proximity to the house, but this place has different things and it is easier to get in & out of.
