Be careful with the screws, they are soft.

Hinges fit the door manufacturer’s hinge cutout. The screws are pretty soft, you have to be careful not to strip the Phillips head.

Hinges ok. Organization not ok.

I liked the hinges just fine. They were well made and fit nicely. I had to get on my knees and find them in a box under the main display. Everything on the lower shelf was mixed up and hard to sort through. They definitely need to reorganize those boxes.

Easy to Install and works perfectly.

Purchased these to replace bent hinges on my existing bathroom door. The description, on the Lowes website, was very helpful in determining that the hinges would work for our intended purpose. They were easy to install and worked perfectly.

Good for short term, lightweight use only

Bought 39 of these hinges when hanging the doors in my new house. They are used on solid 6 panel 3'0 x 6'8 doors, not the hollow core masonite type. I used 3 per door as is standard. Within 4 years most have so much wear on the pins / barrels that the doors have about 1/2" to 3/4" play when lifted by the lockset and have a squeaking noise that greasing the pins will not remove. Solid quality door hinges

I'm a professional finish carpenter. I bought 18 of these square-profile hinges to hang 6 custom interior doors for a customer recently. The hinges are solid, strong, and durable, and with well machined tolerances, operate smoothly and silently. The satin nickel finish looks high quality. These hinges are a good buy, and I'll be buying more again.

Replacement hinges

We have a 50+ yr old house. Removed the doors for painting and I tried to clean up the hinges from last paint job that had to be 40 years ago. I spent too much time on 1 hinge and did not remove all of the old paint. Found these replacement hinges. Had to order the Antique Brass but they fit perfectly. The cost was reasonable and they blend well with the original fittings.

Pins too tight!

I should have read the reviews :-( I changed out 38 5/8” round corner hinges to these, hand chiseling all the corners, only to discover I can barely beat the pins in all the way. I’m leaving them up a little in case I ever have to remove them. I wish the manufacturer would send me out the correct fitting hinge pins!

STILL can't remove the pin!

Neither the product label itself mention that the pin is not removable. This has been reported HOW long ago? I purchased this replacement hinge along with a hinge-pin stopper (same brand), but can't install properly because the "loose pin" won't come out no matter what. Is anybody listening here?

Indoor hinges

My house is 40 years old and has mostly the original (builder's grade) hinges on our inside doors. Between the paint splatters and discoloring they were looking "tired". The new, relatively inexpensive Gatehouse hinges fit perfectly, making the swap-out easy, and the improvement in appearance is dramatic.

Impossible to remove pin

I wish I’d read other reviews before I bought this brand. Pins are pressfit in, and clearly not meant to be removed which made my heavy door hinge replacement a major ordeal. Instructions mention nothing about this. Do not buy unless you don’t need to remove the pin.
