Oak Brook wall cabinet

Cabinets are very nice. Make sure you verify the condition of the cabinets prior to leaving Lowes. I didn't and had to return one of then because the back was busted all across the top. I had to go back to get it replaced.

Quality varies greatly

I would like to start off by saying that I wish I could do separate reviews, but I can’t. We ordered a set of drawers and one cabinet a couple years back for a DIY built-in office desk. You’ll need to return & Lowes will not honor!

Best Bang for the Buck Decent Quality

We used 8 pieces of the Project Source Oak Brood as part of a butler pantry remodel project. We found the quality to decent for the price with some minor tweaking to align doors. We removed the doors to paint and used two coats. We painted the base with Sherwin Williams cabinet paint recommended by the Lowes paint department. Works well enough for a quick solution

Definitely builders grade (meaning cheap but passable). Ready for stain/finishing, but as a temporary kitchen cabinet for my camp, it works good as-is. I'll be adding a sink to it soon. The only wonky thing I noticed is that the doors need adjusting once everything is in place (not surprising). I gave it 4 out of 5 stars simply because it is what it is: a cheap, quick solution, not really top-grade material. A typical B student.

Questionable quality

It’s not the quality of material that is in question. The cabinets are cheaper because they are unfinished, and the material reflects the price. With that being said, the cabinet door hinges were constructed unevenly. Therefore, the cabinet doors are uneven on the face. Additionally, the top drawer does not close all the way.
