Strainer Works Better than the Original

This strainer basket is superior to the one that came with my sink originally. That basket had to be withdrawn from the seated position and the whole thing turned 90 degrees. That created a gap where peel, etc. could slip into the drain. This strainer plug can be raised and locked in place with the strainer still in position. And it won't slip back to the sealed position.

This drain strainer is serviceable, but the "high" lock position still blocks my drain. The post has to sit in an unlocked position to drain and so sometimes closes on its own. Regardless, it blocks the drain well when closed and strains well when open.

Worth the money

Works excellent on our "Frankie" sink. Almost a perfect match to the original one that wore out. Price was good and fit and finish is very good

You get what you pay for.

Great idea. If it stops sealing, the o-ring is replaceable. All rubber products lose their elasticity and thus their sealing properties.

Simple metal kitchen sick strainer basket

Strainer basket is functional and cheap but does not fit our sink very well. Also drains VERY slowly.

Product does not match primary image.

The selection screen shows an image of a screw-down locking style stopper (which is the style I want), not a drop-in style.

Replacing an old strainer basket. Works great as always and helps keep the drain plugged as needed. The specific model we bought uses a rubber stopper which is the preference for our usage

Perfect fit for my sink, bought the most inexpensive drain catch and it fit perfectly and works perfectly for my sink. Easy to use
