In the first lines, I want to thank the employees of this store, they clearly fulfilled their duties carefully and accurately filled out the relevant documents. Delivery was also on time. I hate bad reviews, but this one was earned.
I read the poor reviews regarding the equipment, but I guess I had to find out the hard way. After learning that the machines were broken at the 4 stores closest to me, I finally found a store that assured me they had 4 working machines. I thought I had gotten lucky, but not so fast. Product delivered as designed. • Superb coverage area. • Able to gently fill multiple cavities in an old mid-1900's wood home. • Sound deadening and insulation results are simply amazing! Note: I did NOT utilize the free machine offered with 10 or more bags. Insulation OK, but blowing machine is a disaster
I asked the pro desk for instructions on how to use the blowing machine and they said it was obvious. Once I got it home, I discovered it wasn't. I could not figure out how to attach the hose to the machine and the online videos were not helpful. In the end I concluded that there was a missing part. Lowes Management Issues with this System
I watched the Owens Corning Atticat video and seemed like a very simple system. Went to Lowes in Evans GA on Jan 2 2021 in morning hours, purchased 30 bags, loaded on the trailer and went inside to rent the machine. Attic Insulation
I used this to blow on top of existing cellulose insulation. Worked amazingly, shot out to 8-10 feet. It covered a 750 sq ft area with new insulation 10-12 inches deep on top, in about an hour and a half. This has saved my bacon during the summer heat. The house is a lot cooler and stays cooler for longer.
