good features for non-standard installs

bought to ensure a good seal when installing a new toilet as the existing flange was a bit low. Didn't need any of the red spacers. just used the yellow spacer/flange. had some difficulty as the screw holes for the yellow insert aligned with the bolts on existing flange. Used 4 screws to secure to floor to ensure absolutely no movement.

fit the need for tile installation

I'm replaced rolled vinyl with tile, so the toilet flange needed to rise about 1/2 inch - give or take. This fit the need perfectly since there were multiple heights in the package. I did not need to worry about calculating the height of tile plus underlayment plus mastic

Great for older houses where it might not line up

Good had to find something to build up a flange that was suckin in below the floor about 2 inches this build it up so I could sit my toilet flush onto the floor

Easy to install

I was replacing my toilet and realized the flange was well below the new floor. I got this extender and it has good instructions and is easy to follow. Make sure to read the notes because I kept trying to line up all the holes, and once I read the note that said it might not line up with the old flange, everything worked out. Definitely use a drill to get those screws into the old flange and sub floor. Now I'm ready to install my new toilet (as soon as the paint on my walls dry).

The Oatey Set Rite 7.13 in. Red Plastic Toilet Flange Extender Kit worked unbelievably well with our Kohler Comfort Height Commode. So much so that it reminded me of Al Bundy’s Ferguson when it flushes. It actually sums the lights. IYK,YK

Be aware if looking to purchase item for ‘Pickup’

I purchased a “new product” for pickup. Once I arrived home I noticed this package had been previously opened, perhaps a return. It was taped together and for some reason, whoever packaged my items thought it was a good ideal to hand this product in its current state to a customer. Did I purchase this from the clearance aisle? No. I bought a new product, I expect a new unopened product. Do better Lowes. If you’re going to recirculate returns taped together place them in the clearance aisle.

Nicely solved my complicated toilet flange problem

Seven years after our master bath remodel, our toilet became loose and would easily wiggle. When I took the toilet off to investigate, I found that the toilet flange had cracked at both screw sites allowing the screws to move. In addition, I could see that my flange was sitting too low - over 1/2 inch below my new travertine floor. Didn’t like doing it twice to make it nice…

Liked the different disk size(s) made it easy to fill the gap to within 3/4” needed for wax ring. The gap after tile and mortar bed made the flange about 1-1/8” deeper for a standard wax ring so adding an extra wax ring failed on me twice over 10 years and causing me to remodel the first floor ceiling.

Buyer Beware!!! Poor Engineering

This kit has a multitude of engineering defects. Expect to perform some serious product modification to get it to fit correctly. (1). The rubber gasket, spacer rings, and flange insert are all 1/16" too large in diameter. You will need scissors to cut the outer edge of the rubber gasket to make the diameter smaller. You will need a dremmel tool to cut 1/16" off of the outer edge of the plastic spacers and flange insert. (3) The minimum extension you will get with this kit is 1/2" due to the flan...

Very easy install to add height

This extension set worked perfectly to get my toilet up to the new finished floor height. There are spacers from tiny increase in height to quite a large increase. It is very easy to install.
