Liked it immediately, would buy again.

Sturdy, well made, liked the finish and color, matched the latch style purchased from another firm. I bought longer screws for the post side of the hinge since the ones supplied were too short in my opinion. While it's not an ornate piece it is more than just functional; but in a simple style. Time will tell how long it lasts.

Gate hinges

I built two doors to access the underbelly of our 1000 sq ft elevated back porch deck. These hinges worked perfectly and are strong enough to handle the weight of the doors, so I suspect they will resist sagging over time.

Super heavy duty

These are great hinges. The only thing is the screws don’t really match the capability of the hinges. I used these to repair an 8ft tall, really heavy gate, so I ended up getting 1/4 galvanized steel bolts to mount the gate “bolt through” at the post. The screws that came with the hinges never would have held up the gate for very long

Corroded Bolts

This hinge package as been holding up my gate for about a year. I needed to temporarily remove the gate hardware and found the bolts were already corroded from the treatment in the 4x4. 5 of the 6 were so thin from corrosion they snapped. These bolts should be tolerant of this treatment as the most common application is a treated 4x4 post.

Utility Compartment Door

The hinge was used in a single pair to hold a 34" x 43" paneled door that was constructed using 1" x 6" pressure treated lumber. The door weighs approximately 75lbs. and the hinges supported the load, the door swings with minimal effort, plus the hinges were painted black, giving a nice appearance to the door. Happy with the product.

Strong hinges

I used these hinges on two 5ft. and one 3ft. gates. They are holding the weight well and the gates swing easily with no sagging. Price was reasonable as well. Can only recommend that they put a weight rating on the packaging like they do on other hinges.

These hinges are very good looking and only 2 hold a 4' solid wood fence with no problem. We built a dutch door and have 2 on each part. Love the look!
