Save a tree

The material on this invoice-receipt (clamps, cable, turnbuckles and come-a-long, were used to pull, straighten and stabilize a Magnolia tree blown over during a recent storm. This was a special Japanese variety of Magnolia. It will now be here for a long time.

Don't replace; repair.

My winch cable got hopelessly tangled. I was able to cut the first few feet of the mangled cable and restore the cable to use by using a wire rope thimble and these cable clamps. Works great with no specialty tools needed.

THREADS WILL STRIP WHILE TIGHTENING

The companies use MUCH TOO SOFT steel for EVERYTHING THESE DAYS. The threads started STRIPPING as soon as you tried tightening it enough to hold the cable.
