I mainly use these for guitar finishing work/final sanding finishing/and re-finishing. I bought several and keep them loaded with escalating grit strengths. For the 1000 and up, I also put a 3 mil thick adhesive pad on the flat bottom extending over the curved part. Makes for a better finish that way and sort of helps to "self level" the effort. I haven't had any issues with high or low spots yet in regards to them being plastic. I really like the bull nosed edges on these when working on the gu...

Not all that
Sandpaper kept slipping out of the holder, and the beveled parts did not work trying to send something at an angle. I ended up, scrapping it, and just using sandpaper by hand.

buy multiples
I have several of these sanding blocks. I load each one up with different grits of sand paper and put a sticker on the top with the number. These sanding blocks are great because they have an angled edge and a rounded edge to get in the tight places of your project. These sanding blocks use a quarter of a sheet of sand paper and are easy to load up using the wing nut system.
The Edges are very useful
It can be a little challenging to get the sandpaper into the space between the handle and the base of the block. Otherwise I have found it to be very handy and holds the sandpaper well.

Very Handy - Easy Release - So-So Durability
Like the way the quick release works, and the method in which the sandpaper is replaced. Great product, if only it was made in the USA it'd be better made, I surmise.

Great for smaller jobs
It is good, and it’s better than just holding the sandpaper. I know I’m probably just knit picking, but I wish the handle was bigger so I could get a better grip on it.

Great choice
Great for small jobs. Had a small area to repair and the use of this tool made the work simple and smooth, no pun intended! Quick and easy.

Decent little sander for finish or between coats
Great for final light finish. I use it for between coats of paint very light sanding. Good grip and affordable.

Great Sanding Block
Great little sanding block. I am a Vocational Teacher and bought these sanding blocks for my students. They work great, and lock the sand paper in tight.
