This is a great product, but unfortunately, when you order it online from Lowes you may only get a can of the base un-tinted product. I am not sure why Lowes does this, but this is my third try and each time I only received the un-tinted base. When I called customer service, the rep told me their system would not let them offer a replacement or provide a refund, so they passed me off to the store who shipped it. Expected much better from this brand
Minwax makes some really good, affordable products. They tend to hit the sweet spot on cost-vs-value. Well... unfortunately, this isn't one of their better products. It goes on thickly, has a very short working time, and is incredibly difficult to remove. If you buy this, work in VERY SMALL sections. Nice Product
I’ve used this solid white stain for years. It is very thick (for a stain) and goes on thick like paint. It dries relatively quickly. Clean up of brushes is easy as it is water based. If applied to a smooth surface any dirt or grime wipes off easily.

I live 40 miles away from the nearest Lowes. so I ordered a quart of this online. Awful. This is NOT a stain in ANYwhere close to the traditional sense. “5x thicker”? Why? To achieve ONE coat? If you’re up to staining your stuff. You don’t WANT one coat unless you simply can’t wait to get back to your smart phone. And “Fast drying”? No, no, no! Worst stain-basically paint
I’ve stained many things in my life and this is by far the worst stain I’ve ever bought. It’s basically just paint. It says to wipe it off after two minutes, good luck it just sticks and is literally like wiping paint off. It doesn’t work. It is ruined a table that I was working on. Now I have to sand it all off and start over.
