My bad for not testing the color first. We've been procrastinating on painting these boards for our kitchen, so I just wanted to get it done and the color was completely different than it shows on the can. I sadly thought I had found the perfect match for our floors! Apparently it's because it is pine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refinished vintage family hutch. Did a custom color by mixing weathered oak with rustic beige. Used prestain conditioner and poly finish. Very happy with how it turned out. The stain went on easy no blotches.
