I’m usually not a huge fan of Polyurethane, but I decided to use this one for a new work bench and it actually surprised me. The Warm Flat tone looks great on the Maple Plywood top and then adds a nice contrast on the pine edge boards. It was extremely easy to apply and it was very forgiving. I waited about 3 hours between coats, because I didn’t want to even bother sanding between coats (seeing that it’s just a work bench) and the finish still came out flawless. It is glossy not matte or flat.

Weeks have passed since 3rd coat has applied and it is far from flat or matte but rather glossy. I stirred it very thoroughly as directed and got all the thick material of the bottom and incorporated back into the polyurethane. Also, I dipped my brush deep enough in the can. It just fails on its claim.
