This is a Lowes Review . That being said, the appliance DID NOT turn on. Lowes only gave 48 hrs to return in case of any problem. With my busy schedule I tried to install it 5 days later and found myself with the unpleasant surprise. It’s not easy to place a claim with The manufacture warranty. Now, I am waiting for Miele to assess the problem. That will be another week and if they determine it’s not factory problem I have to pay an additional $150 for the visit and $150 per hour for the tech...

I've only had this two days. Love it so far BUT be aware that the reviews that say it shook so much or made crazy noises or walked likely had the same poor "installation" I had. There are two steel posts about 1/4 up from the floor, possibly hidden behind 1x1 inch plastic tabs. These must come out before using. They are only to stabilize the drum during shipping. Overall I am happy with my new washer, 1 * off because the normal cycle is quite noisy during the wash cycle and the spin cycle sounds like a jet is trying to take off in my laundry closet. I usually cram my washer full, choose cold, high spin and the fastest cycle, because mostly nothing I wash is really dirty. Overall, great dryer from Miele. Got the washer with no venting (heat pump) dryer combo. The size is compact and the overall dimensions are smaller than the typical washers but it's really easy to fit into any room or laundry room or under the kitchen countertops.
