Absolute junk do not buy

I received this hunk of junk for a Christmas present from My cheap husband at first I didn’t want to keep it and then I decided I just keep the piece of junk. It’s so cheap looking. Bad quality

The very first time I went to put documents in the safe after installing it, the plastic turn knob broke and then the guts of the opening mechanism (also mostly plastic) fell inside the door. I used the emergency key to unlock the safe, but I had to stick my fingers inside the hole in the door where the knob should have been, to manually make the locking bolts retract into the door. Arrived broken and unusable, broken piece glued on

Arrived broken and unusable. It appears as if someone broke the knob and attempted to glue it back together. It's disgusting and clearly has been defective and used by someone else.

Electronic combination will not work properly.

The electronic combination does not work . I have changed to new batteries several times. The battery slide cover is hard to put in. Once the battery cover is on and you close the door the batteries fall out. I have tape the cover on to prevent the batteries from falling out. I have contacted Master Lock and still waiting on a response. Not sure I would but another one.

This safe is as good as any other on the market of comparable size, and the cost was reasonable. It is sturdy and makes a decent safe for your home.
