Delivered Damaged.

This tub was dumped onto my driveway and was damaged in the box. I belive the damage is unrelated to the driver. But regardless the whole transaction was unacceptable.

Manufacturing defect or just strange design?

Bought what I thought was a rectangular tub, but mine is narrower at one end than the other. I would have interpreted this as a manufacturing flaw, but my contractor assumed it was intended and just tiled it in. It seems odd that an alcove tub would be designed in a way that requires both floor and wall tiles to be tapered to fit. The photo illustrates just how off-square the front left end of the tub is.

This tub is economically priced yet looks great and seems solid . I really like the non-slip floor of the tub . A word of warning , if you aren’t doing a full tear-out down to the studs it can be a bit tight quarters. The rim of the tub was bent , and it says right on the box that that isn’t returnable damage as it will be covered by the tub surround . However those deformations caused me to put deep gouges in my drywall getting the tub into place . Other than that the tub turned out great...

Small, but it's more about how you use it

It does seem like a very shallow tub practically speaking, but does work well when primarily used as the "pan" for a shower. Easy to install with enough of a proper slope to compensate for slightly imperfect foundation.

Solid, classic tub that feels durable and well-mad

This tub has a big chip out of it and is only 2 1/2years old. Do not buy.

When I was remodeling my bathroom it seemed that there were more pros than cons to bathtubs. I never thought it would be as hard as it was to choose a basic tub. I ended up with this one. The item arrived without chips. I have had it for a year now. I follow the cleaning instructions and I have not had any issues at all. Hopefully that continues to be my experience.
