This Little Giant 26 foot ladder is exactly what I expected. It has fantastic utility. I've replaced three separate ladders with this one ladder. In A Frame modes it is excellent and stable. It is relatively easy to extend to create various lengths and configurations. The locks work well and feel solid and safe. There are really only a few things not to be super excited about. You do have to watch your fingers a little as you retract and extend the sections, it'll bite you if you are not ...

A bit heavy but built well, worth the expense.
At first glance and manipulation, the M17 seems to be well built and easy enough to open and extend. I purchased this particular ladder to use with my RV. I haven't had the opportunity to use the M17 for the reason I bought it yet but that's coming down the road in a little bit. The ladder will be tall enough for anything I will be using it for and would work for most households ladder needs. It is quite versatile. Now for the things to think about. It is durable, or so it seems but the cost o...

A Pretty Solid Ladder
Unboxing the Little Giant Ladder is simple. All you need to do is take it out of the box. Nothing to assemble. There are a lot of videos you can watch online and I think it is helpful to watch them. Also, there is a user manual you can access off the Little Giant web site that is more complete than the paper instructions that come in the box. The nice thing about the ladder is that it is fairly intuitive to operate, but does take a little getting used to. In addition, Little Giant makes several ...
Stable and Adaptable.
How can someone love a ladder? Let me explain, this is a well-constructed, 300 lb capacity, easy to manipulate tool for working at elevation and is more stable than other options. This ladder is good for commercial use, or for someone that is a professional, a weekend warrior or actively involved in upkeep of their property. Most people don’t realize that inexpensive ladders have a low working weight limit which can easily be exceeded. I am 5’ 11” approximately 240 lbs and regularly have 30 ...
So many features!
The locks slide very easily and lock firmly and securely, with little play. The springs highly reduce sticking, which doubles as a safety feature, as I've seen guys climbing ladders without the locks set. The levelers are AWESOME! They make working outside a breeze, and will help you get to ALL of those uncomfortable places in your home. They would be nice of course to have on all four corners (just in case), but nonetheless, 2 already make so much difference, as you usually would have had to pu...

Look for the newer, improved model
I was looking forward to getting this versatile extension ladder (up to 17ft) as it seemed just what I needed to get to the gutters on the house and to reach the ceiling lights 10ft above my floors. Standing just 56 inches tall when stored away in the garage or an indoor closet its compactness also makes it easy to transport in a pick up truck or SUV without the need to strap it to a roof rack. Surprisingly I could even get it in my 2 door coupe with the back seats folded down, so any sedan with...
Werner is better!!
The other store currently has Werner 22 footer for $119 or something for the black friday sale. It doesn't have leg leveler but I like Werner much better than this Little Giant. The rungs on the inner ladder are designed in such a way that if you're using the ladder to stand on while doing work, they will catch debris. No big deal.. until you go to move the ladder and the junk dribbles/dumps out when you tip the ladder over or on its side. Nice if you dump some paint and it ends up sitting i...

Excellent Convenience and Value
This ladder seemed to be at an optimal balance if price, quality, and quality-of-life features. Similar size folding ladders can be had elsewhere for ~$70 cheaper (at time of writing) but lack the quality and convenience. There is a Franklin model which feels less sturdy, has inferior lock design, and importantly also lacks the convenient Leveler and wheels features. Costco also has an exclusive Little Giant model between those two which lacks the Leveler feature. Since I'm scared of heights, t...

Great versatile ladder. Heavier than a step ladder
The Little Giant is a very versatile ladder. The ability to have an extendable step ladder is very useful for a household where storage space is limited (storing an 8’ or 10’ step ladder ladder can be difficult). And having a built-in straight extension ladder is a bonus. Straight ladders are not as common around everyday households, but they can be very useful. The main negative to this ladder (really all of Little Giants) is the weight. It is substantially heavier than a standard 6’ or 8’ ...
Well-designed/built/finished and very practical
Overall, I _love_ this ladder. It’s an engineering wonder! Well-designed, well-built, well-finished and very practical. I am a 5-foot retired woman engineer with only a moderate amount of upper body strength. I invited my friend, a professional glazing contractor, to try it. He was very impressed with the ladder, too. In the past, I’ve only had stepladders, and a telescoping extension ladder. This ladder can replace both of them in a very small amount of storage space --- 4’ of stepladder...
