What Customers Are Saying
The lighting is extremely bright and high-quality, effectively illuminating a wide range of spaces. Installation is easy and straightforward, with no special wiring or tools required. The lights are energy-efficient and long-lasting, with an estimated 50,000 hour lifespan. The compact, low-profile design fits well in various settings. However, some quality control issues were reported, with a few units arriving damaged or having loose components. A couple customers also found the color temperature to be too cool/blue.

Installed three in 2024, worked well at first and give a really nice light in my workshop, however after 2yrs two of them have stopped working within a span of 4 months of each other. I thought I was getting a higher quality product than this. My usage is pretty light - it’s my workshop that gets used a few hours a week, so not a ton of hours on these. Maybe average 10hrs a week x 2yrs, so around 1000hrs total. Disappointing.
Expect To Replace in 3 to 5 Years
Long term Review. I bought 10 of these lights over a 2 year period from 2021 and 2022. Pros - the brightness is great, installation is not terrible, and the 5 year warranty is nice (you are going to need it). Cons - the little plastic caps on the end fall off easy do not completely seal which allows bugs to get in, pain to clean when they are in a tall structure. They have started to rust a little. The biggest con, 4 out of 10 have failed so far, the LED driver is the culprit. Three of them wer...

Does not last
I put 2 of these up in my garage. They provided a nice bright light, for about 2 years of low usage. The LED drivers in both failed within 10 days of each other. In the 2 years I had these installed there would be times I might would have them on for 6 hours while in the garage doing stuff, but then there would be weeks where they weren't turned on at all. If I had to wager I say total time they were turned on is in the neighborhood of 500 hours max. That is an absolutely pathetic lifespan for t...

Keep a wire cutter handy and at least 3 toothpicks
The plastic attaching rivets that hold the LED to the metal frame didn't hold very well, and each time placement was attempted the LED fell away. The fix was to cut toothpicks into small "pins" and place them between the rivet flare. It worked fine, but kind of an extra chore not expected. It probably would have failed an electrical inspection since I didn't have a certified engineer to design the toothpick pins. Otherwise - nice light and great design for adding adjacent fixtures.

poor quality
Lamp brightness inconsistent due to loose LED ribbon inside of plastic cover. Called manufacturer twice to ask what I could do (remove cover and adhere again to base of fixture or replace lamp?) and first was told to file a warranty claim. After no response from the manufacturer's warranty team I called again and was told to go back to Lowe's for help. I explained fixture was already professionally installed and could not be returned unless I paid for the electrician to come back to remove fr...

Poor quality control
I've had one installed in my garage for approximately 10 months and it works great. My other fluorescent light finally died so I purchased another one of these as a replacement. Unfortunately it did not work and I returned it. Purchased another one, dead, returned. Purchased a 3rd one and it was dead also. It wasn't the LEDs themselves as I plugged them in my working light and they lit up. The problem is the LED controller that's DOA.

Okay, but very cheaply made
Ultimate result is okay, they look fine and are decently bright. However, these are VERY cheaply made. Lots of plastic parts and light plastic clips holding everything together. By the time I finished installing my three lights there were already pieces falling off. I have zip-tied them together so nothing falls on my cars. While they look fine now, my confidence that they will last very long is not high.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the MNSL fixture. While we’re glad the lights provide the brightness you expected, we’re very sorry to hea... Read More

Bright light. But not 4000k interfears with radio
These are good shop lights if you want a bright light. They claim 9000 lumens but they are brighter than my brand new 5900x2 lumen T12 8 foot fixture. Combined 11800 initial lumens.. and about 10k average lumens. Yet the LED is brighter. Not drastically but i can tell side by side on the walls and floor of my garage. They really do mimic a florescent tube with the plastic diffiusor on. They are deff not 4000k though... 4k is more yellowish. These look around 5500-6k Now the cons. A. ...

Cheap, but bright
I wanted to buy some well made 8 foot long fluorescent light fixtures to replace the 1,000 lumen lights in my garage but had to settle for this light fixture. It was one of two choices of 8-foot long fixtures as there were no fluorescent fixtures available. The other had three different light settings. I don't need mood lighting in my garage, just light and lots of it, so this fixture was the logical choice. However, it is cheaply made. The plastic LED housing hangs from what appears to be a sta...
