Gripable paper
The added feature of this paper is the somewhat rubber like coating on the back side. The coating allows you to grip the paper better when sanding profile molding or handrails. It also provides added durability to the paper when using by hand or with a sanding block and ever performs better and last longer on power finish sanders. Label reads: Longer Lasting, No-Slip Grip It doesn't last longer because of the No-Slip Grip. It makes it almost impossible to remove the sandpaper from the sander without tearing it so you can't change out to a different grit without ruining the sheet on the sander. I recently had some work to do in my home; refreshing stain on window sills that had been damaged by water as well as some oak trim in one of the downstairs rooms. I used this product with both a sanding block and in a small vibrating sander. Sometimes you need to shop for yourself.
The wood was cracked and bowed. I know it was a cheaper piece of wood but, it would have been nice if the shopper would have taken the time to pick out a decent piece. The shoppers should check the materials just like they would if they were buying them. Didn’t even use the wood. I cut it and it was so warped I couldn’t even use it. Expensive, but worth it. Fairly aggressive. Lasts
Works well, but a little pricey. This sanded hardwood quickly, didn't load up or have abrasive chipping off all over. Best of all was the tacky coating on the back, it stuck just enough to itself to not slide around on itself or a block. That coating seems to keep it from tearing or crumbling accidentally. It was easy to fold and tear off pieces cleanly with a strait edge as well.
